Foam Insulation (Panels, Spray)

Foam insulation is made from glass, plastics or other materials and insulates by trapping bubbles of gas and air inside the material. The foam can be sprayed on surfaces where it will harden or cure. It also comes in rigid panels typically sized to 4’ by ‘8 and 1/2” to 6” thick.

Not all foams end up rigid.  Some foams sprayed in place remain flexible.  And other foam insulation comes in flexible sheets and strips.
